The structure of the filter press

The filter press frame is the foundation of the whole set of equipment. It is mainly used to support the filter mechanism and the pull plate mechanism, and consists of a thrust plate, a pressing plate, a base, a cylinder body, and a main beam. When the equipment is running, the piston rod on the oil cylinder pushes the pressure plate to compress the pressure plate and the filter medium between the pressure plate and the thrust plate to ensure that the filter slurry with a certain pressure is pressurized and filtered in the filter chamber.


The filter part of the filter press is composed of filter plates neatly arranged on the main beam and filter materials sandwiched between the filter plates. Reinforced polypropylene filter plates are mainly made of high-quality polypropylene and pressed with our unique formula. Good mechanical properties, stable chemical properties, pressure resistance, non-toxic, light weight, smooth surface, good airtightness, and easy cleaning.


When the filtration of the filter press starts, under the pressure of the feed pump, the filter slurry enters each filter chamber through the feed port of the thrust plate. The filtered slurry undergoes solid-liquid separation by the pressure generated by the feed pump. Due to the effect of the filter material, the filtrate is discharged from the water nozzle or the liquid ceramic. If the filter cake needs to be washed, the washing water can be used to wash the filter cake through the washing port on the thrust plate; if the filter cake with lower water content needs to be washed, compressed air can be introduced from the washing port, and the filter cake can be removed through the filter cake layer. Part of the moisture is blown out.


The electrical control part of the filter press The electrical control part is the control center of the entire system. It is mainly composed of inverters, PLC programmable controllers, thermal relays, air switches, circuit breakers, intermediate relays, contactors, buttons, signal lights, etc. Conversion of internal timers, counters, intermediate relays and travel switches, proximity switches, electric contact pressure gauges (pressure relays), and control buttons.


The operation of the filter press adopts two control modes: manual control and automatic control. Press tightly. First check whether the upper limit pointer of the pressure gauge on the electric contact of the oil cylinder is adjusted to the holding pressure range. Then close the air switch, turn the rotary switch to "manual", and then press the "manual press" button, the pressure plate begins to compress. When the pressure reaches the upper limit of the electric contact pressure gauge, the motor automatically stops running.


After the automatic pressure maintaining motor stops running, open the feed port valve to start feeding, but ensure that the feed pressure does not exceed 1.0 MPa. After filtering, press the "manual release" button, the solenoid ball valve is released, and the unloading action of Gongdong is executed. When the limit switch touches, the motor stops automatically.
